TSIMANE - JUNGLE EXPERIENCE

Tsimane is located within a National Park and Indigenous Indian Territory, where the Amazon jungle meets the Andes Mountains.

The landscape is incredibly wild and remote; and its gin-clear rivers are serpentine through jungle and mountains, affording anglers the ability to wade and sight-cast to a myriad of different jungle game-fish. This jungle environment remains in an absolute virgin state and is arguably one of the most pristine, wild and natural expressions of the world.

These rivers are inhabited by two different species of Dorado and other fish from the Amazon basin, such as the Pirapitinga Amazon Pacu and the Yatorana (pound by pound, one of the strongest fresh-water species in the

World).

Tsimane blends, like few other sport fishing destinations on Earth, the greatest aspects of fly fishing: sight casting, freestone wading, light-tackle, floating lines; majestic sceneries, mountain rivers with clear, virgin waters; and four extremely exotic species of game-fish of significant size and fighting capabilities.

In Tsimane you have three different options to fish in these remote places and their different rivers.

Pluma Lodge

The Tsimane Pluma Lodge experience is based on one very comfortable jungle lodge, built entirely from sustainable wood cut from the nearby jungle.

There’s also the option to do headwater out-camps for one night to the upper Pluma River and one on the upper Itirizama River, one of the main tributariesto  the Pluma River.

Anglers have access to three different rivers, each different

and unique: the Pluma River, Itirizama River, and the lower Sécure River.

This broad variety of waters and pools allow groups to fish fresh water every day, and rarely, if ever, repeat the same fishing beat. The water types very from deep pools to rugged terraced pocket water.

Agua Negra Lodge

The Agua Negra Lodge experience is based on one very comfortable jungle lodge, built entirely from sustainable wood cut from the nearby jungle. There’s also the option to do out-camps at the headwater of Agua Negra river for one night and one-day hikes to Chimoro stream.

Based out of the comforts of the Agua Negra Lodge and the chance of doing headwater out-camps in the Agua Negra river, anglers have access to three different rivers, each different and unique: Sécure River, Agua Negra River and Chimoro stream. This broad variety of waters and pools allow groups to fish fresh water every day, and rarely, if ever, repeat the same fishing beat.

Sécure Lodge

The Sécure Lodge experience is based on one very comfortable jungle lodge, built entirely from sustainable wood cut from the nearby jungle.

Based on the comforts of the main Sécure Lodge and the chance of doing headwater out-camps, anglers have access to three different sectors: Río Sécure-high sector, Sécure River-medium sector, and the streams called Maniquicito and Ashahana. This broad variety of waters and pools allow groups to fish in fresh water every day, and rarely, if ever, repeat the same fishing beat.
